• Specs of my site:
WP 4.0, Jetpack 3.1.1, Twenty Twelve Theme w/child, Photon, Custom Content Types

    Portfolio page short code: [portfolio display_types=false display_tags=false display_content=false columns=3]

    Portfolio PageURL: https://pyrogirlaspen.com

Problem: Pingdom Performance Tools shows that the featured image (used for the project thumbnails) are being downloaded at full resolution for each listed project on my Portfolio page. Photon/CDN is not providing optimized thumbnails but downloading the original image at full resolution and resizing it as a thumbnail. I need optimized project thumbnails. Can I regenerate these thumbnails some way?

FYI… I am not using any caching at this point.

Thanks for the report. That’s indeed a problem with how Jetpack builds the shortcode. I took note of the issue here, and we’ll get this fixed. Feel free to subscribe to the issue on GitHub to follow our progress.

I will also post again here as soon as the problem is fixed.

    re: Jetpack update 3.2

Just tried v3.2 with the above mentioned issue but no fix yet. I recommend anyone using Portfolio Page short codes to pass until the Portfolio page plugin is updated. The problem is your portfolio page thumbnails will be high rez and your page will load slowly. If anyone has a fix for this issue, please post.
