Portfolio not showing at all

Your shortcode seems to be correct. Try to put any other content, and see if it show-up? If no content show-up and you still see the same message, then you are most probably writing in a Page content that has static template.

By template I mean the drop-down box on the right side bar, where you can select the template of your page, and in your case, I think you are choosing a blog type of template.

Turns out the issue is that this plugin doesn’t work on a page named “Portfolio”..

Will continue to play with this and see if it’s what I need/want..

Sure thing.. You might want to update your user docs/readme/instructions to let people know this.. Turns out I tried installing this plugin a year or two ago and removed it because I had the SAME issue.. Wish I had known then what the REAL issue was.. Instead I walked away under the impression your plugin just didn’t work.. Others might have done the same..

Alright, this is expected, because the plugin using a special post type called “portfolio”.

You are right about the naming issue. I shouldn’t name the post type with something common like “portfolio”. So I will try to change it to “waving-portfolio” in the next release and fix this naming conflict issue all together.
