    Hi,

Sounds like you might’ve added a new post type?
If so it might be as simple as going to Settings > Permalink and hitting Save twice, this should reset your link configuration and include your new Portfolio one as well.

Did that, and it sticks on the following:

    Post name https://www.tonemgmt.com/sample-post/

Still have the same problem. Any advice would be massively appreciated.

Still not working – saved twice on settings > post name > permalink

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delayed followup.

I’m noticing that there’s a redirect in place for the link in your original post, has this been happening as well all along?

Do you have any redirection plugins activated at this time?

When you say “doesn’t load”, what does this involve, does the page just stay white, do you get a “Not Found” error, if you get a not found error is it in the style of your WordPress theme or completely different?

If none of the above, could you provide us with a link to the content that works, and a link for the content that doesn’t work so we can better assess what is happening?

    Thread Starter brewrecords

    (@brewrecords)

    No 404.

    It simply doesn’t load https://tonemgmt.com

    Specific Portfolio in question https://www.tonemgmt.com/portfolio/arabrot/

    (@clorith)

Ahh, I see what you mean.

Have you at any time perhaps made another page with the slug arabrot which is in the trash somewhere? (that’s a situation I’ve found my self in a few times when this happens)

    Thread Starter brewrecords

    (@brewrecords)

Hmmm i dont seem to have any trash – they have all been deleted permanently.

Played around with permalinks, still nothing I’m afraid

    Moderator Marius L. J.

    (@clorith)

Is the article accessible if you use the post ID of it?

    Thread Starter brewrecords

    (@brewrecords)

What would be the URL of post ID only?

    Moderator Marius L. J.

    (@clorith)

When you are editing the page in your back end, the address should have a part that says post=123 (where 123 is the ID number)

    Thread Starter brewrecords

    (@brewrecords)

It’s post 500 but unsure what I type in the url?

    https://www.tonemgmt.com/portfolio/post=500

    This doesn’t work

    Moderator Marius L. J.

    (@clorith)

It’s usually site.com/?p=123 to go via it, but you need o t also change your permalinks to the Default one for it to work or it’ll just redirect you.

It does feel like the page is configured in some special manner, does it have a publish date in the future, or is it set to private or something like that ?

What about the Preview button, is it capable of sowing the page as it should?
