• I have been searching and googling for an hour now trying to figure out how to set up a portfolio.

It seems even though I have selected portfolios to be available I still need to install either a specific portfolio theme or a plugin?

I can create a portfolio, but is the only way to add images by clicking the Add Media button? How is it that the document that talks about creating a portfolio mentions everything but how to actually add content? Im talking about https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/

I was hoping to not have to add a plugin for this. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a WordPress.com blog? If not then the WordPress.com tutorials don’t apply to you. That’s entirely different software.

What functionality do you expect from a portfolio?

I have a www.remarpro.com site. So It looks like I need a plugin.

But, when I go to Settings>Writing, I do have the option to enable Portfolios. Also when I deselect that checkbox I still have a dashboard menu item called Portfolio, but it uses a thumbtack icon. Apparently one of my other plugins may already be offering me the option to use their Portfolio option. I need to figure out whats creating that and see how I can use it. Or, get a Portfolio plugin,

What I expect is to be able to create a page for each portfolio category, with a parent page showing all portfolios. t would also be nice to update the contents of each portfolio using keywords. I’m just dreaming here. Is this how they are supposed to work?
