    Good evening,

I’ve been using your plugin for a couple of months now and have been really happy with it so far. However today I noticed my popups stopped working and I’m not sure why. I havent changed anything but I have updated plugins since I last remember the popups working.

I tried rolling back the plugin several version but to no avail. I’ve also tried putting the site in troubleshooting mode and bringing plugins online one at a time and still no luck.

Kind of out of options at this point and thought I’d bring this up in support to see if anything obvious came to mind that I might be overlooking.

    Thanks,
    Janek

  • We have this issue as well. Seems that the class of “modal-link” that is applied in the menu (the only option from the admin applies it to the <li> element), is no longer being accepted?

It looks to work if I force the class to be applied to the <a> tag using dev console, but without writing custom code to force this class to that spot, this plugin is no longer working…and I’d prefer not to do the hourly on that (I know the client wouldn’t want it ha).

    Fix for this??

@janekkrause I believe this issue is fixed in the latest version. Please let me know if it’s not working still.

@revconcept This is a separate issue and I’ll look into it for the next release.

@revconcept Should be fixed in version 3.6.0

@allurewebsolutions we updated today and the problem persists.

Class of “modal-link” is applied to the <li> element – nothing happens. When we manually add it to <a> tag then the pop-up works.

So for whatever reason, the class on the list element item is no longer triggering the pop-up event…even with the most recent plugin update.

I feel this is due to a WordPress update as I tried rolling back to some of the very first versions of this plugin and still couldnt get it to work. I’ve updated to the latest version and still no joy.

I dont think its related to the same issue you are experiencing Chris, my items are not in li elements, but who knows.

@janekkrause – do you have the class on an <a> tag? Or elsewhere?

Please see the demo site where it works when you put the modal-link class on a wrapping div, specifically “Modal Link Class on Wrapping Div”
