Popups do not scroll with main page strollers anymore

    I upgraded to WP Popups lite on our sandbox site and after I did the popup appeared to be loaded as an overlay which was not tied to the pages main scrollbars. Instead the popup form loads but the popup itself has scrollbars to allow for scrolling. The old popups which were in the old plugin loaded with no scrollbars in the popup and the popup scrolled when you scrolled the main pages scrollbars.

    I looked through all of the new settings and I cannot find a way of re-enabling the old ‘look’ and behaviour with the new plugin.

    Hi @richiricheh,
    could you share a url where we can see the issue? Do you have a fixed height in the popup? Have you tried with auto height ?

    You’ll note that on the second link there there are no scrollbars. Also when you scroll the page the form is scrolled up and down. When the form is filled out and auto-closes the page behind then scrolls as it should.

    Hi @richiricheh,
    On the new popup you have another html element. A DIV with class overlay which is the one causing the scroll.

    Remove that div opening and closing tag to match your old design and you should be good.

    I followed those directions and the inner scrollbar went away.

    On the PROD site though the settings and behaviour is not the same and I have the same issue with the new Plugin as I mentioned. I am going to deactivate the new plugin but you will notice that when I use the old popups plugin there are NO scrollers at all. the form loads and when the page is scrolled the form scrolls.

    I hope this helps differentiate the two scrollbars I am/was referring to. You will note that as I stated above the inner scrollbars are gone now, outter ones are not.

    Hi @richiricheh,
    the popups are styled differently, that’s why. On my big screen I don’t see those bars.

    You will need to either remove border and margin or make your form smaller. I do recommend maybe decreasing the height of the message field so it can fit smaller.
