    Hello,

I’m trying to create a pop-up such that only users with a referral link (shortened using bitly) will see the pop-up after reaching the page.

However, it’s not working with any combination I’m trying out but it seems to work without the referral portion in the URL.

Is there any ways to get it working or it is a limitation of the plugin?

    Hi @zerhinne,

However, it’s not working with any combination I’m trying out but it seems to work without the referral portion in the URL.

I could notice anomalies when tested on my side. What you have pointed might be the case. I’m double-checking with our developer regarding the workflow.

Could you please share an example format of the referral URL you are using, so that I could check if there is any workaround that could be suggested based on that?

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

Here is an example: https://bit.ly/GOGOSHOPPES1000. Do note that the back half is customised.

The bitly link points to https://gogoshoppes.com/xxx/?referral=xxxxxxxxxxx, which is my website.

Neither of them worked, unless I use https://gogoshoppes.com/xxx/

Looking forward to your response and assistance. Thanks!

    Hi @zerhinne,

Thanks for providing further details. I checked further regarding this with the developer and I’m afraid at the moment it seems like the current workflow doesn’t support the above format as you have pointed.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy workaround that we could suggest at the moment to support this out of the box.

However, our Hustle team do see that this would be a handy feature and we’ll be considering implementing this feature down the plugin’s roadmap. Hoping it would be soon.

    Regards,
    Nithin
