popup window music player idea

Hi. I am thinking of putting a link to an obvious place on the front page of my wordpress blog that upon clicking it, it will open up a popup window where I can define a flash player. The question is where this “obvious” link can be? Is it possible to make an “empty” page just use for redirecting, in this case, open up a popup window? If not, are there other options other than making a text/html box on the sidebar? >_<
