Popup window for event does not appear

  • An event of the calendar is displayed in a popup window (e.g. https://demo.10web.io/spider-calendar/).
    After a WordPress update (I don’t know which one) the event is displayed in a browser page and no longer in a popup window. To return to the main page the back button of the browser must be used.
    That change in usage is hard to explain to the clients of our website.
    Help is requested. We have installed Spider Event Calendar Version 2.5.62.
