Popup will not open

Please help, I have spent hours already and I just cannot get any window to popup.
I made the sample popup and added the code trying t these 3 ways:
Open Popup
Open Popup
Open Popup1st link goes right to my google test in the same window.
2nd+3rd link cannot find server. Why? shouldn’t it pop up a window with my sample copy in it?
