Popup text edits are not saving

Hi Tauni,
sounds like a plugin conflict – to verify this, please disable all other plugins but Leaflet Maps Marker. If that solves the issue, re-enable them one by one to find the one causing this issue. If this does not help, also have a look into the PHP error log and the browser console to see if there are any additional error messages…

I am also having the same problem.

I have disabled ALL other plugins, edited my marker text, clicked Update and nothing is updated.
Interestingly the top of the page says “Marker has been successfully updated”, yet the Audit stamp at the bottom of the page is unchanged.
Audit “Marker added by admin – 2013-11-06 23:18:16, last update by admin – 2013-11-08 11:35:02”
I then tried to update other sections of my marker with the same negative results.
Somehow I think this is more serious than a plugin conflict.
It’s like I don’t have permission the update the Marker details.

Did you turn on wp-debug and had a look into the php error log? Any additional infos when trying to save the map there?

for the record: there seems to be an issue with the database as MariaDB and not mySQL is used. Hoster has been asked for support…

Sorry for the delay in resolving this update problem at my end.
My site host Tech Support have reported that we do in fact use mySQL database and were at a loss to explain how MariaDB has been reported by Debug.
At ant event as of Friday 22nd January, 2016 the problem has been resolved as if by magic.
So I am happy with the end result, but I cannot explain why or how the problem has been fixed. Unexplained events I am not happy with, but I shall add this to my “Murphey’s Law” list and carry on.
