Hi Would remove the last rule as is not neccesary I think. Also are you using a cache plugin? That is most probably the reason.
Try enabling ajax mode in the plugin settings

Actually, once I turned on Ajax, the popup isn’t working anymore.

    Hey Damian,

I have another big popup ad that is controlled by an ad agency, and by using this popup, sometimes visitors see 2 popups at once. Is there any way to control the popup so that the popups can alternate? Such as…maybe there is a shortcode for your plugin that I can plug into the other popup, so that if the popup controlled by the ad agency shows, this ad doesn’t show up and vice versa.

Is there any feature in the premium version that will do this?

Is or is not working the popup? Sharing your site will help.

Regarding that feature you mention Im afraid is not possible

    Alright thanks.

It’s working sporadically. When I turn off ajax mode, it shows on all devices. When I turn it on, it shows on desktop, but not in chrome but only in firefox.

I still don’t have enough information to help you. Can you share your site?

The last display rule that says page type is not equal to all pages need to be removed

    Thread Starter clammy77

    (@clammy77)

    Hi, that was already disabled.

    now its:

page type is not front page
    mobile phone is not true
    post status is equal publish

    (@timersys)

And you still have ajax enabled? Because I went in and didn’t see the popup

    Thread Starter clammy77

    (@clammy77)

Yeah, that’s right, I have ajax enabled. WHen I have it disabled, it shows up everywhere, including mobile, which I had it disabled.

Ok I see the ajax call but popup is not returned , for some reason display rules are preventing the popup to show. Do you see any error in server logs?

    Thread Starter clammy77

    (@clammy77)

I actually dont see any error logs. I see the ajax call in Firefox, but not in chrome btw.

checked 100 lines and didn’t see anything. very strange.

We’re running PSS in front of our servers, which defers JS, not sure if that makes a diff. But as mentioned, works in firefox.

Its a really strange behaviour, to be hinest im not sure how psss work but maybe is the reason. Try to disable to test it and see what happens.

The strange thing is that the validations rules are php really and once they pass the popup is printed in the site.
Then with javascript the popup appears to the user.

In your case with chrome is not even printed so there is something strange in there

I can ask PSS to not defer the JS from this plugin, since PSS defers all js till the end.

What is the JS I should have PSS not defer?
