    Hi,
So we are using the plugin to create the popup. And we are using the Divi builder to style it or build from scratch. One issue we notice is that when we add a button module and add styles to it in the design tab, when published and viewed on the website, the button styles are not applying. One solution i did was to add id and style it.

So, is there a conflict between the plugin and the Divi builder that it won’t apply the styles?
I contacted elegant themes support and they say that the issue is in the plugin which maybe has some caching built-in?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @smartwebcanada

Thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

Popup Maker has an asset cache that you can disable under the Popup Maker > Settings > Misc, but this will not affect the popup content. In general, we try to leave the styling of popup content to you and the plugins/themes installed on your site.

Kindly clear the static files generated by Divi builder. You may find it under the theme options > Builder > Advanced. In case you have other cache systems such as cache plugins, server cache of CDN, kindly resave the popup and clear all the cache before previewing it. I would also suggest using an incognito window to check the popup.

I hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the reply…
So, I disable cache on the plugin via the settings – misc – Disable asset caching.
I also clear the Static CSS File Generation via Divi theme options – builder -advanced. And cleared my browser, also tried on private window Cognito mode but still, the module Divi button design styles are not applying.

Also, our server confirmed that there is no cache in the website server. And I don’t have any caching plugin to enable. So, not sure why it’s not applying. The only solution i can do for now is applying it via CSS by targeting the i.d. Would be great if this can be applied via the design module tab.

    Thank you

    Hello @smartwebcanada

    Thank you for getting back.

I further investigate the issue in my test environment. I saw that even when you have disabled the static files in Divi theme options, it still has an option in the editor.

    Please see: https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRuGPqpK

Along with the investigation, Popup Maker doesn’t have control over the style of the button when viewed on the frontend, but it does use a custom style inside the editor.

    Please see: https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KuPd1dB

Most likely Divi is not loading the styles for the button in the head. Kindly check the settings of Divi or if you could reach out to them to verify the styles loaded on the header.

    I hope that helps.
