Popup on Sundays from 10am-12pm

  • I’m trying to keep this short because my last one was auto flagged as spam (being my first post) and I lost it. Basically, I want to have a popup that displays only on Sundays from 10a.m. to 12pm.

    This is for a livestream that happens at this time and we want to direct users to the livestream page.

    I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I can’t even get it to work on the day of the week. Here I’m testing it for today, Thursday, without the time and it doesn’t show up. Here are my settings:

    – Dynamic Tag -> Current Date Time
    – Show/Hide -> Show when condition met
    – Condition -> Contains
    – Compare Type -> Text
    – Conditional value -> Thursday

    I have my custom date settings to be: l, F, j, Y which gives me: Thursday, January 19, 2023. Later, once I get this working, I will add a time.

    This is the debug data I get:

    There doesn’t seem to be a good manual that I can find that dives into the details of the plugin.

    @bsmalldesign it appears that you were attempting to do something similar in this topic but had an unrelated issue that was resolved. Would there be a chance you could show me your setup?

    Just a follow up, this works totally fine if I enter a date range to run it. However this does not allow me the ability to have it automatically run every Sunday. I would have to go in and change it each week to activate for the following Sunday.

    Did you manage to get this working? I am looking to do something similar. I want to be able to show a popup only between certain dates and times. But when I’m editing a popup I can’t see any option to use the Dynamic Conditions for the whole popup. I can only see it when I edit the popup contents.

    I’ve checked the Advanced tab on the popup settings and also the Conditions, Triggers and Advanced Rules. Could you share where you made the changes?

    So when you edit the popup template, click on the settings icon at the bottom left of the screen, and in there you can set dynamic conditions for the entire popup. This works (I can set a date range and it will only appear in that date range.) What I can’t get to work is to appear each Sunday between 10 and 12. Right now I’m going in each week and resetting the dynamic conditions to match that week.
