    Hi,

I recently migrate my website (which I can’t send a public URL, before you ask) from our development machine to the client’s integration machine.
Everything goes fine, we ensure that theme options, plugin settings, etc. are well moved.
There is just ONE issue: the menu item Popup Maker juste disappeared from the WordPress administration.
My popups work well, but I can’t access to their admin pages to customize them.

Do you have any idea about this curious problem?

    Thank you!

Sorry to hear you’re having an issue, I’m sure we can get it resolved. That’s a weird problem, indeed, I will have the Lead Dev @danieliser take a look as soon as he is available.

    Thanks for your patience.

@nicovideo – Only thing I can think of is that you have a plugin that modifies the admin menus that is hiding it or for some reason your account doesn’t have the correct wp permissions. Most likely the first.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you for your answers.
I have the same plugins on both environments. I checked the HTML/CSS and didn’t see the item at all.
Would a plugin prevent Popup Maker to be added in the menu…? It seems really weird.
I will check the permissions, but I guess they didn’t change with the migration.

Nothing in the permissions… I finally reinstalled the plugin, and it appeared. By chance, it didn’t remove my popups, so everything works fine.
But I’d be glad to know why it disappeared for my future migrations. Is there some crazy hashed configuration, like WordPress often does, which could have become unreadable on the new server?

@nicovideo – Hard to say without trying to duplicate it several times first. It could have been a one off glitch. Not really sure. Glad its working again for you now.

Please take a moment to click that it Works and to rate and review the plugin or support.
