Popup Maker is not working after update

Here it is exactly the same problem… takes a long time or simply doesn’t work at all.
In the error logs I find an error that seems to be the crux of the matter:

“too much recursion jquery.js:2:6868”

Doffine can you please share the links so that I can have a view on your website and guess why these are not working.

We just downgraded Popup Maker to version v1.5.2 again since we cannot do debugging on the back of our customers. v1.5.2 works again.

When I look on your page enchante.website and try the popup I find exactly the same error as we have it here (on your page it is “too much recursion jquery.js:3:11968”). So we simply seem to have a bug in the new plugin version.

@ravirajotiya, @dof – Sorry to hear that. Looks like you already downgraded. Can you confirm this only applies to click triggers?

If so I know what the issue is. I added in something to catch triggers that were added to the page late. The recursion must be happening there though I am not sure how. I will test it and get another patch out today.

@danieliser – we cannot confirm that, but you are right: In our installation we had also click triggers, but since we don’t use other triggers we cannot say if it affects only click triggers. Nice to hear you are already fixing the problem. We’ll stay tuned and look what the next version brings.

I’m having this problem as well for click triggers – in Firefox I get this message:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

@ravirajotiya, @doffine, @henrybaum, @stravopoulos, @nitrat, @jlcd0894, @estraghalis – v1.5.5 is live and should resolve this. We were able to duplicate it locally and patch it quickly.
