Popup Maker and Nex-Forms break my whole site

    Hi,
    if i add a form created with Nex-Forms plugin to a Popup Maker popup then they immediately break my whole site!
    Not only the popup-site but my complete webpage: all pages and layouts are destroyed!
    (I use the Enfold theme with the Avia Builder.)

    If i add my form to a page, then it works without problem. I tried to insert that page then to a popup, but it didn’t worked: break my site too.

    (Backwards it works: i can add popups to my forms without any problem.)

    Any solution?

    @peti73 I’ve not heard of Nex Forms before now, but I imagine that the issue isn’t coming from our plugin, but rather your use of their content inside our popups. To be clear we don’t render popup the same way pages/posts & other content types are.

    We load them hidden in the footer of the pages they will be used on.

    We also call do_shortcode in the header to allow plugins to properly load their assets.

    So couple of possible issues:
    1. You are inserting an actual page template into the popup and the styles loaded from that template are either not getting loaded because they don’t use normal registered shortcodes, or those styles are loaded and breaking things on the underlying page.
    2. They require usage of the_content filters, which we don’t use. Their filter function would need to also be hooked into pum_popup_content.
    3. The content you inserted doens’t play well when hidden on page load. Popups are hidden in the footer on page load.

    You would need to consult with the provider of the content you are inserting to see what is possibly going wrong on their end. Feel free to have them reach out to us.
