popup in different URL

Hey jocygaby, im not quite sure I understand your issue. For multi language typically you would need 2 pages and 2 modals, one of each in each language.

Each popup would target its own languages page.

We are working with WPML to allow easy translation management for Multi Lingual sites. We are hoping to be certified shortly after first of the year.

Sorry if I knew not express myself, my problem is in the home page that are made in php, I have the address wwww.stockton-ag.com/es and https://www.stockton-ag.com, in the plugin I have no option for different url, gives me only the option of pages or on home page, and when I choose on home page to be in the same wordprees shows me in one language the popup for both home page.

Assuming your trasnlation plugin is or works like WPML, Simply creating a translation for the popup should work.

How is the popup opened? Is auto open enabled and not working or is it a click trigger?

If its the click trigger the problem is likely that you have added say popmake-25 class to an element, then when translated the translated popups id is 32, so the id won’t match and open.

We are adding auto correction for this for WPML compatibility, but a quicker fix would be to edit the translated popup, look for Click Open Settings -> Custom selectors and enter the original untranslated popup id.

So for my example above, you would add popmake-25 to the custom selectors box on popup 32

@jocygaby – Any luck with this? We are still working on full WPML compatibility. Not sure if thats what your using.

How is it going with WPML? I want to show popup with gravity forms in 2 different languages on page with WPML (english page is default; second is german with /de/ subfolder). On English works perfectly. On German at all.

@jacobde87 – It is getting there. It has been a process because of targeting conditions, but we are slowly finding fixes for the issues that prevent full compatibility.

Currently the main holdup has been time. I will try to find a solution before v1.2.

But that said you should have 2 pages & 2 popups already no? 1 each for both languages. The problem lies in when you clone the english popup to translate, the targeting conditions aren’t changed to account for the translation.

That said, you may try updating your targeting conditions for the german on.

PS I have had success getting this working, I just don’t have any steps of how I did it. I was purely testing to find ways to fix our issues.

Update: I noticed bug in console when I’m on german page:

TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘a.container’)… maybe this is some clue?

got the same problem. got a multlingual site and tried the way you explain with the popup id into Open Settings -> Custom selectors. but nothing happend after that. Any adive how to fix that problem?

I soved the problem by my self. It was my misstake. because i forgot to setup the setting to open up automaticly. This happend because after the translation you have to setup the translated version again.

everything works finde with the solution popupmake ID as daniel shows up before.
