Popup function not working

  • I have created a style.
    With this style I created a button.
    Button works in every way. Works correctly when using a url link.
    When trying to use a popup shortcode, I get 2 incorrect results:
    1. Popup automatically opens on page load (popup is correct popup)
    2. Button then only opens a blank popup.
    Notes:
    Popup works properly in every other instance except with WPI button, so problem is not with popup. I have tried several different ‘good’ working popups, but button problem is the same with them all.
    When I remove button the popup does not open on page load, so this is a button problem.
    I have set the button with target both ‘self’ and ‘other window’: Still same results.
    My only thought is possibly a conflict with another plugin, maybe the popup builder.

    Using ‘Popup Builder Pro’ version 2.1.4
    WPI Button version 2.4.3
    Browser: Chrome (also tried Firefox – still same problem)
    Windows 8.1

    Any ideas?

    Note again; this button works as it should when a url link is used.

    Hi,

    Use insert-html-snippet plugin for creating shortcode for html content.
    and place that shortcode in popup field in wpi designer button settings.
