    Hi,

I am using your Plugin. It’s great and I tested the popup option for the subscibtion form. Looks also great!

Unfortunately I dont want to have an cookie banner for my blog. For some reasons most cookie banners makes website slow and users often dont care about that. So I decided to use no cookies, so I dont have to use such banners / plugins.

The problem for the popup function: an cookie is set and I have to make an cookie banner to be GDPL conform.

Perhaps it is possible to deactivate cookies for the popup function?

    Kind Regards

    Ronny

Hi, to keep the popup closed a cookie is required (or a cookie equivalent). Being it a pure technical cookie, you should consider the option to not show a banner, since, as far as I know, is not strictly required (you have not to ask for consent, hence if you need to document the presence of that cookie you can add it to the privacy page). Someone can suggest using the browser’s local storage: the law does not talk explicitly of cookies but information stored on the user’s browser, so even different techniques are not immune to the low requirements.
