PopUp for Default WP

  • Is there anybody experienced of how to make ‘Pop Up’ work in the default WP? Where should I upload the fold and htm file? Currently I upload them in the root directory, but its not show up on the site? Any advice?

    Its called “Impact Pop Up” (not WP comments pop up). Purpose of using it is for opt-in list, it will only show up about few second. It suppose has to show up when the home page landing.
