    (@brnsantos)

And I had tested with other themes…

I see that it’s working on your website with the example shortcode, how does the shortcode look like when you’ve entered your video URL?

    Thanks! ??

    (@brnsantos)

    Isn’t working on my website…
The only one that works is the link example :

    <a class="ryv-popup" href="#">Video</a>

The popup example don’t work :

    [ryv-popup video=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/YlUKcNNmywk”]

I had tested on chrome, firefox and safari…

    (@brnsantos)

Even when I changed the link, the popup doesn’t open…

    (@davidvongries)

Can you please share the shortcode you’re using that’s not working for you?

    Thread Starter brnsantos

    (@brnsantos)

    None works…
    neither
    [ryv-popup video=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/YlUKcNNmywk”]
    nor
    [ryv-popup video=”https://youtu.be/FlsCjmMhFmw”]
    nor
    [ryv-popup video=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlsCjmMhFmw”]

The popup, just don’t open on page load.

    Just works this :
    <a class="ryv-popup" href="#">Video</a>

    when we click on it.

Thanks @brnsantos for sharing the shortcodes!

You’ll have to grab the url from the actual embed code that looks like this:

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/YlUKcNNmywk

Unfortunately you can’t just copy and paste the browser URL from the video you’re watching, it always has to be the embed URL.

    Hope that helps! ??

    Best,
    David

What is the element on that page that’s triggering the lightbox? You will still need to add the triger element like so:

    <a class="ryv-popup" href="#">Video</a>

or give your element of choice the class ryv-popup to trigger the lightbox.

    Thread Starter brnsantos

    (@brnsantos)

I thought that that the plugin already have a trigger, when we use the code..

    [ryv-popup video=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/YlUKcNNmywk”]

Can you give a example of a trigger to load the popup when the page loads?

I just find it on other post.

    Thank you!
