Popup Contact Fields click opens a blank browser window

Tried my first popup with this plugin. Pretty simple, no extra code.
When I click inside any of the Divi Contact Form fields I put in one column of the resulting popup, a blank browser window pops open instead. On multiple browsers that I’ve tried. What’s up?

ETA I tried just a Divi Contact Form on a plain page, and the Form worked fine.

It’s when I mix it with Popups For Divi on a simple page with 2 Sections, one being the Popup section, and the actual popup part having 2 columns, one an image, one the 3 field plain, non-modified form, that it opens a blank browser window instead of allowing the form to be filled.

ETA2 : If I click ANYWHERE in the Popup, a new browser window opens.
