    Hi there,

Love using PopupMaker but the following bugs have appeared which if I can’t resolve will probably mean having to find an alternative sadly:

    1) On opening a page to make any edits, the page layout is broken (paragraph breaks are automatically inserted in front and after the popup code); this means every time I open a page to make edits (visual or text) I then have to also fix the broken layout before exiting the page.
    2) Where google maps are inserted on pages using Maps Builder plugin – when clicking the map, a popup opens over the top of the map.
    3) All popups stop working when using TablePress plugin.

Sorry to hear you’re having troubles. I’m sure we can get this resolved!

    1) This is more to do with WordPress than it is with Popup Maker. Read about fixing this issue here.

    2) I cannot seem to find the maps to click on, would you mind telling us where to find this part of your site?

Regarding the last issue, I’ll have the Lead Dev @danieliser take a look as soon as he is available. Thanks for your patience.

@gowherescotland – Currently the only solution for #1 is to disable that shortcode entirely for our shortcode button due to limitations in WP core currently on how they can be rendered in the editor.

#2 – I also could not find a page with an actual map and not an image.

#3 – Do you have a link where tablepress is enabled? Most likely their plugin is causing a JS error on the page somewhere, once that error occurs all other JS stops working. IE our popups can’t trigger without JS.

    Hope that helps.

Hi, thanks both for your feedback.

I’ve found because I edit frequently, disabling>editing>reactivating the plugin is the best way as using text editor results in the same issue intermittently.

I’ve now deleted TablePress plugin due to this conflict, but fandamentally, creating a table on any page where there were also popups, would stop the popups from opening.

As regards maps, again I’ve disabled this plugin temporarily; I’ll create an example page to demonstrate and post a url.

    Many many thanks,

    Andy

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The problem most likely is related to your site loading the jQuery JS library from the Google CDN, instead of using the version that comes with WordPress.
This is not something that a theme or plugin should do. For ideas on how to fix this, please see https://tablepress.org/faq/js-functions-not-working/

    Regards,
    Tobias
