• I’m working on a Test Photoblog getting ready to move DH’s blog from MT to WP. 1 post setup. My problem which is driving me nuts is with the popup comments.

I have my own working photoblog on 1.2 with popup comments – at https://thelifearoundme.net. (after I have the test site moved, I plan on upgrading myself). Please make note of my comments, go to previous and see how it is still a popup. For this to work I used “IF $single=false” right before the call to popuplink. We don’t want our comments to go anywhere else but on the page of the photo.

My test site is https://mikrut.net/test. It works fine on the index page. Tried it with a single.php and currently just using index. Tried using IS_SINGLE for 1.5. no go, tried what I had for 1.2 no go. The area is currently bordered and the COMMENTS are now not showing up once we start navigating.

What am I missing?? What would be the call for IS_single if I want to be false like in 1.2? I’ve tried a couple of scenarios.. no go.

Any thoughts would help.. right now I’m tapped. Maybe I just need to step back from it. ;D

p.s. I plan on documenting this for anyone that might be interested in this kind of setup.

Well alrighty then! Been out of town and I see I’m on my own on this one (rolling up sleeves) now where to backtrack.

What worked in one version should work in another else in my use of WP is a deal breaker. Wish me luck.
