popup cforms ?

  • Hi,

    I was wanting to have a cformsII form popup in an ajaxy way (fade-in/out, etc) but I can’t seem to find any examples of anyone doing this.

    Is there a tutorial out there somewhere that show how to do this?

  • I’m still working on a local copy of our corp site (test env.) so I can’t show what I’ve got so far, but form what I’ve learned:

    You can do anything you want with a cforms generated form using jQuery. Simply set the form to not display when it’s loaded (via CSS), then control visibility via jQuery…it’s really not that difficult once you figure out how jQuery works.

    I know nothing about jQuery, so if there were any tutorials that you found helpful that you could pass along, that would be great.

    Also, I’m not sure that I understand what you mean by setting the form to not display when loaded (via CSS). Which css property are you setting (display: none, perhaps?)

    Any extra points that you have (without revealing secrets ?? would be great.

    Javascript/CSS aren’t my strong points, but I’m always willing to do the research.
