Popup banner language will not change

    Hello,

    My current WP installation is in English, however the content of the popup banner only seems to show in Dutch, even when I change the language of the website. The content does not seem to change/translate automatically.

    I also tried to translate the strings via WPML, but these don’t seem to show..

    Hi @elkex,

    Complianz does not automatically “reset” your Cookie Banner texts when you change the Site Language of the website under Settings > General in WordPress, otherwise any customizations you had applied would be lost as well.

    However, you can manually do this, by changing the Site Language (and User Language) to the language that you wish to use for your Cookie Banner, navigating to Complianz > Cookie Banner and clicking “Reset to default settings” once.

    The above steps will set your Cookie Banner back to its’ default texts, which would now be the default texts of your newly configured Site Language.
