Popup adding an tag around popup container

Hi, our newsletter signup popup is adding an a tag around the popup container, that links out to the developer website which appears in the footer. This has never been added anywhere else except in the footer and we cannot work out why popupmaker is applying it to this popup. Your assistance much appreciated!
