Populating drop down with post titles from certain category

Okay, I find a way – kinda. Here it is:

Populate Select Box from databese

Only problem I have is that I don’t know how to style it as I like and why it appears with first option empty (you have to click it to see options)

If anybody could help me with that I would be grateful.

Sorry but when I was submitting my question I hoped this can be achieved with use of this plugin, since it let you execute short code in its fields. I didn’t find the solution I was looking for – finding a way to make select box populated with shortcode.

So when I found some kind of “go around”, I thought I will post it here if anyone later was looking for same thing. As you can see, thread about styling isn’t on this forum as it has nothing to do with DTX.

Have you considered adding functionality of making select boxes type field in your plugin? I think lots of people would love it ?? I certainly would!

Thanks for the suggestion, Agabe. It’s something that I’d like to add eventually, but at this time I can’t say when that will be given my current development load ??
