Popularity Contest and 2.8.4 – Catchable Fatal Error
-
I really like Popularity Contest, and it was working, but now I’m getting a Catchable Fatal Error and I wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same thing, and if anyone has found a way to fix it? I posted on the the author’s site, and my comment was deleted with no answer, so I’m here now, hoping one of you can help!
When I go to Popularity Contest Options under Settings, and press the ‘Reset Comments/Trackback/Pingback Counts’ button I get this error… “Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/content/49/4741249/html/wp-content/plugins/popularity-contest/popularity-contest.php on line 539”
I’ve done two things recently that may have impacted it – I’m not sure if they do or not, but I’m mentioning both here, just in case they do. First, I upgraded to WordPress 2.8.4 and second, I imported over 200 posts from Blogger.
I’ve tried deleting and then reinstalling Popularity Contest. I’ve tried disabling all my other plugins. I’ve tried switching back to the default theme. I just can’t figure it out? Am I really the only one having this problem?
