PopularFX Template Compatability

    I’m trying to create a site using PopularFX template called Waymore, which is built on their Pagelayer system. When I install The Events Calendar plugin and go to the Events page, it looks like their template/theme is overriding the layout that the plugin provides.

    Do you know if there is an incompatability between this theme and your plugin, or is there anything I can do to troubleshoot or override the template?

    Ultimately, I would like their template header/footer, with the event listing?

    Unfortunately this is for a non-profit organization and there is no budget to purchase the Pro version of the Events Calendar, where I would try to use the shortcodes.

    Hi there,

    Instead of focusing on compatibility with a particular theme, we have built The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and our other premium add-ons using default WordPress as the baseline for our standards.

    What does that mean? It means that we make sure our plugins work seamlessly with themes that come pre-installed with a default WordPress installation.

    This allows us to confidently say that we are compatible with most themes that also follow WordPress best practices, but it’s hard to answer about specific themes like this.

    If that theme is a good theme following the correct WordPress standards, our plugins should work for sure.

    About having ther template header/footer on your Events Calendar pages, you can create a template page following your theme structure and enable it for all calendar pages on Events > Settings > Display > Events template.
