    Doesn’t GeneratePress provide Popular Posts?section in the sidebar???

    Other free theme like Rishi providing it.

    NO, GeneratePress does not add a Popular Posts section.

    If you want Popular Posts then you will need to use a plugin or if you want, use a theme that includes it.

    Please suggest me a plugin that is SEO friendly specially light weight.

    That I cannot really do. There are several to choose from in the WP Repo including this one which is probably the most downloaded one:
