After updating the popular posts plugin for WordPress from version 1.4.5 to 1.4.6, some of my pages showed a vertical line in the main body of text when viewed with the Internet Explorer browser.

I switched back to using version 1.4.5 and the problem with the line disappeared.

Would there be any security risks by not updating? Does anyone else have this bug? Would it be fixed in version 1.4.7?

I actually like the look version 1.4.5 gives more than the horizontal line breaks between the posts and pages in the list that show up in 1.4.6.

The bug with the line came back, even with version 1.4.5! Can anyone help solve the mystery of how to get rid of it?

It shows up in IE when looking at my welcome and exposes pages, but not with any other pages.

I removed this plugin and will not add it back until the issue get resolved.

The line apparently is the dividing line between the left and right columns of my sidebar, but as to why it shifts to the far left on only two of my pages (but not on any others) is too much of a mystery for me to solve.
