    Hello,

Inside the main menu of the web site, I use a cart icon to show (on hover) the list of products contained in cart.

When logged, products are always displayed.

When not logged, products are not always displayed. For example, if you add some products to the cart and then, if you close and reopen the browser, the product list will be empty although the icon is showing the number of products in the cart.

You can make a try with this test page: https://provendi.fr/page-accueil-test/:

    1. Go to the shop and add products to the basket
    2. Go to the test page and look at the cart icon on the upper right of the screen: it shows the number of products. Hover the icon and you will see the product list.
    3. Close the browser and reopen it. Go to the test page and wait for the page to be loaded.
    4. Look at the cart icon: the number of products is displayed BUT when you hover the icon, no products are displayed.

The cart icon is an Elementor widget. I don’t know if the bug is coming from it or from another plug-in. I try to make a conflict test but I can’t reproduce the bug because, when I use the Troubleshooting Mode, if I close and reopen the browser, the Troubleshooting Mode is automatically deactivated.

    Best regards,

    Micha?l

    Hi @schemastudio ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I have gone to your site and followed the steps you provided to try and replicate the issue, however, I have not been able to do so as the item in the cart is still displayed.

I have tested this on both Chrome and Safari, and here are my results after closing and reopening the browser:

As a first step, you could try clearing your browser cache and see if this makes any difference.

Additionally, since the cart icon is an Elementor widget, if the issue persists, I’d suggest reaching out to the developers of the Elementor plugin for further help with this, as support related to third-party themes/plugins is outside our scope of support.

Here is a direct link to the Elementor plugins dedicated support forum.

    Cheers!

I’ve emptied the cache but the bug still goes on.

I’m going to post this ticket on the Elementor forum,

    best regards,

    Hi @schemastudio ,

That screencast was very helpful, as quitting the browser entirely does result in the issue you have described, and this occurred on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

Here is my result after quitting the browser, rather than just closing, and reopening it:

I’m going to post this ticket on the Elementor forum,

That sounds like a plan, they will be in the best position to help you our further with this issue, since you are using the Elementor cart widget ??

I will go ahead and mark this thread as resolved then, however, feel free to create a new topic should you need any further help!

Hope this issue is sorted soon!
