    Hello @brianzajac,

Right now display condition work that in reverse mode: by default it shows popup on all posts, pages and other pages. Condition for page works only for pages, all other content types like posts or products have the default setting (so all).
With this condition you will need to tell also plugin to not display popups on other pages, like posts, categories, tags etc…

But you can use condition “Show only on URL” and there you need to only add url of your home page and it will display only there.

Per session option is only available when popup shows on exit – for other methods of triggering popup you need to setup period in days.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

Thank you. Unfortunately every time I try to save changes and/or finish setup, the changes won’t save & it reverts to what I had previously. What could be the cause for this?

For the URL string, I am using this: https://twistmodern.com/hustle-popup-home-page2.png. Should I be using the “/” or not?

I had originally set up the cookie to last for 4 days. See details:
https://twistmodern.com/hustle-popup-cookie-time.png Are you referring to something else? And will this only affect a user on a specific IP address or just the computer the cookie is on? If it’s just the computer, is there a way to limit per IP address?

    Thanks,
    Brian

I’ve made some headway. Firstly, I couldn’t update Hustle due to W3 Total Cache being turned on. Once I switched off, no issue.

Secondly, I’ve updated “On Specific URL” to:
    twistmodern.com
    twistmodern.com/home
    twistmodern.com/home/
    /home
    /home/

This fixed the issue, but let me know if any of these are not needed. Please note that if you have another available condition turned on (like “pages”), this won’t work.

The only things left are the IP address question and the cookie. Here it is again:

    Hello brianzajac,

You need only url of the main page
    twistmodern.com

https://twistmodern.com/hustle-popup-cookie-time.png Are you referring to something else? And will this only affect a user on a specific IP address or just the computer the cookie is on? If it’s just the computer, is there a way to limit per IP address?

Yes, I was referring to this option. Cookies are saved on visitor computer so it is per computer (to be more specific: browser on visitor device) not the IP.
There is no option to block it per IP – that would require custom coding.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Kasia,

Thanks, I’ve kept the same settings as https://twistmodern.com/hustle-popup-cookie-time.png, but the popup keeps showing up on the home page even though I have the cookie set for 4 days. Is there a setting I am missing?

    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hi Brian,

Please enable “Add Never see this message again link” or “Close button acts like Never see this message again”, these options will trigger the never show event that will then be stored in users browser for 4 days.

Let us know if it works with that.

    Cheers,

    Predrag,

Thank you. You may want to change the language on that as it’s confusing. A suggestion might be to change “days (upon expiry, user will see the Pop Up again)” to “days (upon expiry, user will see the Pop Up again if you have selected a checkbox above).” Then move the two options ( “Add Never see this message again link” or “Close button acts like Never see this message again”) so they are just above the expiry and separate them from the other two check boxes.

    Hi @brianzajac,

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll forward your feedback to our designers so they can consider making this more clear ??

    Cheers,
    Predrag
