I’m controlling member only access to some pages of my site with the plug-in jonradio Private Site (2.9). The Stripe payment page is open to everyone. Until recently (can’t tell exactly when), the popup worked fine, but now it redirects to the login page : users with an account can log-in and terminate the payment (good), but new users without WP account can’t (bad).
This is clearly a new) incompatibility between the plug-ins, but the jonradio Private Site is at the same version that when the popup didn’t force to log-in.
Is there a means to recover the previous behavior?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Is the products page public?
Try to temporary disable the membership so you can isolate the behavior.

No, the products page wasn’t public. Making it public restored the previous behavior, everything is fine again.
    Thanks a lot!

    Christian.
PS Your product is terrific. It’s rock solid, and when there is a glitch as the problem I encountered, support is here! The only thing I would like to have is the possibility to list the customer name in the orders listing along with “date”, “total” and “status” (in the compact view).

Oooops, sorry for having posted the previous message without double checking: in fact, making the products page public didn’t solve the problem. It’s still here.
Disabling the membership obviously makes the popup appear, but this is also the case when the user is logged in. As I mentioned initially, the membership plugin is the very same as when everything was fine, and the popup didn’t triggered the login page when the user wasn’t logged in. Now it does.

I’m not being redirected anymore and I’m not registered either. Did you manage to fix this issue after all? What was the reason for the redirect?

    Hi,
Yes, I managed to found a solution recently: I made public the *specific* product page (including its number, as opposed to the general public page, as you told me to do). It’s working for me as I have only one product (annual membership fee), but would be problematic if I had several. Something changed since last year, as I had no problem until now, but the work around is fine for me. I will certainly have a look at your WP eMember plugin for the next version of my site, as the jonradio Private Site is not suitable any more for me for other reasons.

Thanks a lot for your precious advices!

Let’s say the issue is solved.

    Thanks again for your time.
