Pop-up not working consistently

    Hey,

    I am using a pop-up form in WordPress. But the pop-up form doesn’t work consistenly. Sometimes it pops up on one page, but not another one. Others times it is the other way round. I can’t seem what I would have to change to get it right.

  • Hi!

    Please note that the pop-up form uses your browser’s cookies to determine if it should show up or not. That means that if the pop-up already was shown in your browser while visiting the homepage of your site, it might not show up again if you go to a different page unless you clear your browser’s cookies before. That could explain that “inconsistency” while you’re checking.

    If you wish to check if the form is working correctly on all the pages you’d like it to show up, please clear your browser’s cookies and cache every time you’d like to load a page – that will make the form load from scratch in your browser.

    I also have the same issue where the popup does not aprrear when a user revisit the same page. Would be good if we have some mechanism in place to control the behaviour. Can’t expect the users of my website to always clear the cache before accessing it. Moreover it doest work in cognito mode and on mobiles.
