Pop open to lightbox

    Hello,

    I have 1 album that contains 6 galleries. When I click one of the thumbnails now it reloads the page and displays the thumbnails for that gallery.

    I would like it so that when someone clicks on the main image for the gallery that it opens into the lightbox over top of the page.

    Can I accomplish that with the free version?

    @frankstone – Although you can use a shortcode to create a single image that when clicked it will open the gallery directly in the Lightbox. It’s a bit of a work-around and not a special shortcode functionality (see below for the code). There is currently no way to accomplish this from a Album display.

    You might look at using several shortcodes as a “faux” album display to accomplish what you are trying to do.

    Here is a sample shortcode to work from:
    [ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 images_per_page=1 show_all_in_lightbox=1]
