• Unable to edit pootle slider (page builder pro) worderpress 5.3.2

Can’t live edit a slider, either one that is in current use (my link) or another slider that is saved but not currently being used.

Clicking on ‘add slide’ in live edit menu only highlights the text within the menu – won’t drag anywhere. Have tried switching mouse settings on Windows 10 from single click to double click with no difference, rebooting computer between steps.

At moment only way to edit a slider is to make a new slider. Last slider (used in link) was built/published Dec 11 2019. Everything was working then.

Also can’t add a new slider from dashboard side menu, only from top bar.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

I’ve just tested on our demo sites and it’s working fine, so my hunch is that another plugin is causing this problem.

Can you de-activate other plugins to find which one?

    thanks

Deactivated each plugin one at a time and same issue remains. Only plugin I did not deactivate was licensed page builder pro as the warning screen looked like I would cancel the licence.

I had saved a blank draft slider while I was experimenting earlier and went back to it. I was able to edit with no problems, even after saving, editing and exiting several times.

So I went through my list of saved sliders and tried each one. Some of them will edit and some will not. The ones that will edit are intersperses, date created wise, with ones that will not edit. I don’t have any css added to any.

On the ones the work as soon as I click I get the expected result. On the ones that don’t work click then moving the mouse highlights the text of the live edit side bar that the cursor is near.

The fact that I can add/edit a new slider means I can work around it as my sliders are very simple. But would still like to figure out what’s in play.
