• Interface for adding events is poorly laid out and consumes an incredible amount of space for what should be simple fields. Display formatting is also very subpar.

Such things as upper-lower case Pm instead of standard PM suffix.
Doesn’t automatically apply mailto: link to dedicated email fields.
Event title font on calendar view is so large only a few letters fit in the date box.
Can’t see the formatting changes in the Elementor editor, just a blank space,
Have to Preview to see what it looks like.
List uses the same large footprint as the calendar view (lots of empty space unless you have a numer of events in the list).

If the basic elements of the free version of this plugin are so poorly constructed, why would anyone pay for the premium versions? Hard to believe this plugin is popular, must be because there are few other options and that the name comes up so easily when adding plugins.

    Hi @ldekay

It seems like you’ve had some trouble with making our plugin work with Elementor. Sorry to hear about that. Did you try to reach out to our support team for help? We would be happy to take a look at what needs fixing and help you out. From your description I think a couple of them can be easily solved with some CSS rules.

If you’re open for help, please open a support thread and we’ll be glad to assist you.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Thanks for your reply Andras, but I’ve listed a number of shortcomings that shouldn’t require separate CSS fixes. Maybe you could reevaluate and revise your core plugin to address those shortcomings rather than expect the user to recode with CSS.
