Poor user experience, difficult customization
-
If you’d like to do the the precise design of your website, SM3 becomes very unintuitive, with options not clearly named, or different settings with the same name, without explanation of their distinct function. Some very basic effects successful only after selecting arbitrary combinations of settings.
With my quite simple website I achieved nearly everything I planned but it took way too long. Not recommended unless you are satisfied with many pre-configured layouts and if don’t pay attention to the details. But for this you might be ok just sticking to a free version. For any more robust and custom project try something else.Edit: I forgot to mention horrible media management which is not coordinated with wordpress media library, resulting in duplicated or ghosted files not easy to substitute or delete etc.
Dear developers, please have mercy on us!
