Poor update – little testing of the obvious

    Amateurish update by this plugin developer (they should know better being top tier) that could potentially break 60k installs where sites are using AMP for WP. If it breaks glue for yoast or genesis it is going to be even more of a fun day.

    Those that have experience don’t update on a live site but how many actually bother to run a staging web site to test everything first.

    Let’s not grill them for this issue. This kind of issues happen. The developer and the team are trying their best on maintaining this plugin. We are all part of the same community and we will carry each other in good and bad times.

    So, no worries. We will make sure that this types of issues don’t happen the next time.

    Fair enough – I was a bit too blunt. These things do happen but a bit of testing would have been a good idea.
