Poor Quality images

Hi,
I’ve changed the size of the box to 16em using css and I’m finding that even at quality=100 the images are quite blurry/poor quality. Why is this happening, the images I’m using are of good quality so I’m thinking there’s something somewhere I missed?Kind regards
