Poor plugin performace

    Hi there!

    After installing Google Listings & Ads plugin i noticed performance degradation on the site. The TTFB difference is about +200ms when plugin is active and inactive. I have used xdebug profiler to find the bottleneck and found that plugin initialization stage takes from 40% to 60% of runtime.

    Thanks for reporting this. The best place to discuss improvements with code suggestions is probably https://github.com/woocommerce/google-listings-and-ads/ – PR’s are always welcome.

    I am gonna leave this thread open in case anybody might have a quick win for this.
