• This is a poor plugin. Firstly there is no mobile/ tablet upload available? The option simply doesn’t appear. After years they haven’t even bother to fix such an issue. Unbelievable in this day and age! The interface is very unintuitive and seems to lead the user round in circles.

Secondly, the plugin doesn’t even work or do what it is meant to do. When you go to add a gallery to a page the gallery fails to appear and simply says

    Edit
    Delete

Great isn’t it. Useless. When you try and find the short code it becomes obvious that the gallery id doesn’t even display on mobile view either.

Login to try and find support and there is little to go on. Support is very thin on the ground. If you ask for help on an issue all they do is say thanks for logging the issue. That is it, they don’t seem to offer genuine help at all, beyond asking you to deactivate your other plugins.

It seems NextGEN gallery creates multiple plugin conflicts, as well as massively slowing down your site. Why should someone deactivate other plugins when it is NextGEN that causes the problems?

Needless to say I deleted after just two days.

Apologies, but the front-end upload feature for mobile and tablets is a feature request.

Please keep in mind that our developers need to address these new features in order of priority. We don’t have an estimated time of release, but we’ll do our best to include this feature in a future release. Please feel free to share any ideas or missing features here: https://www.imagely.com/feature-voting/
