Poor Performance / Speed / Slowness

I’m experiencing severe poor server performance / speed / slowness on all of the website on my server. More specifically, when I attempt to navigate pages (front end or back end) 1 out of every 3-10 will just fail to load. It seems that it happens progressively. So the more tabs I have open, or the fast I try to navigate pages, the worse it gets.

1. My hosting provider, and myself, have confirmed it is not the server (navigating via FTP is smooth and quick, for example).
2. And I’ve audited all of the websites on my server (all WordPress) to confirm there aren’t any obvious problems.

I’ve installed the P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler) Plugin and while I understand the data it’s giving me I don’t have a way to know what is normal.

For example, it states that 94 MySQL queries are being executed upon page load (which seems extremely high to me). But I don’t know what to do about is assuming it is, in fact, excessive.
