    Hi,

We have this plugin for around 7 months now. We have been using it, but we feel this plugin has very serious limitations, that we have communicated via email on the 15th of December 2020 to coderockz support. They said they’d look into it, but so far we don’t feel any effort to overcome this limitations.

And what limitations are we talking about?
How locations are managed. We have 4 different stores in two different cities.
During Christmas we wanted to close dates for locations individually, but there is no such option. (because on each city one store was going to close, and other would remain open) so we wanted to remove the dates of 23 and 24 of December for selected stores only.
There are only two options: either you close the dates for all of the stores, or you have to wait until the week begins and then close the days on a weekly base.

Since the business (pastry shop) was labouring during the lockdowns, with reduced personnel and pickup only, again we have dates where the stores will be closed – but not all of the stores will be closed, each store will close for a defined period, not simultaneously, for vacations.

The option CodeRockz said would look into, still no sight of it. We can not disable stores on selected dates, or if we want to close them we have to wait until the previous week when we start disabling the days on the weekly plan. But we have customers who make orders with over a month in advance (birthday cakes, special events, etc) so either we disable all of the stores, or we have to keep them open, so we don’t miss orders, and then contact the customers saying their order for that given date can’t be fulfilled.

Talks have been made internally to replace this plugin, and if this issue isn’t addressed it will happen. The plugin works fine for some stuff, but the way locations – which are physical stores – are managed, is truly poor.

We hope this issues are quickly addressed on a future update, or very soon we will have to let go of this plugin and go for another option.

    Hello @maverickws

First of all, we have to ensure you that when we get a request we will note down the request and try to implement it one by one and roll out them via a future update. But sometimes we can’t do what we want because of the previous code structure or some other reasons. Maybe this plugin is not suited for you and this is not unexpected because one plugin can’t fulfill all of the requirements of the customers. And you said that we ensured you that we were looking into it which means we were tried but failed for some reasons. No one wants to let his/her customer to go but sometimes we are unable to keep them. We have a request, please again email at [email protected] with the requirements clearly. They will cooperate with you whether this is possible or not again. And thank you for your patient.

    Hi @coderockz,

Well if you note down the requests and try to implement it I truly have no new requests apart from what I had already mentioned via email last year and here again on this ticket.

I think we provided enough examples of how pickup locations do require better settings, and use cases where they fit. Locations/pickup points can be closed, there should be the option to select the dates when each location would be unavailable independently.

If this is really something you can’t implement, we’re truly sorry, and wish you the best of luck! Kind regards.
