Poor grammar. Very time intensive free version

  • This plugin divides cookies into “Necessary” and “Non necessary”. This is a weird, unusual and nonsensical phrase. Why not use “essential” and “not essential”, or allow users to create their own categories?

    The default wording for category descriptions is also a bit weird, but at least users are able to change this.

    It is very time consuming to manually add all cookies and keep them up to date. Apparently the paid version automates this process, and it is highly configurable. However, I’m not prepared to upgrade if I have to use the phrase “non necessary” – why would anyone choose to opt-in to cookies that are labelled “non necessary”?

    Hi @mwcs,

    We understand your concern and thank you for the feedback. Both phrases essential, non-essential and necessary, non-necessary are used commonly in the arena of GDPR we just used one. We didn’t get any negative response regarding this from any of the users so far.

    We will look into the default wordings and make changes if needed.

    With the premium version of the plugin, you can customize the category names and also add more categories.
