• Glad people seem to love this.

Trying it is proving a poor experience.

It is impossible, at least for me, to get this connected to Pinterest – they insist on an upgraded standard account, which seems impossible to setup. They demand some sort of video to be uploaded describing the app I am creating – I simply want to have posts share from my site.

Stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea – Pinterest are of no help and SchedulePress doesn’t appear to offer any help with setting up something as fundamental as a social share.

    Uninstalled.

Trying to put in Pinterest app id and secret key generates this in the plugin
    ‘{“status”:”failure”,”code”:11,”data”:null,”message”:”API method not found.”,”endpoint_name”:null}’

    Lost the will to live.

Before I do that – it would appear that for Pinterest to work its needs some sort of app and upgrade to a standard account – until they tell how to do that, I suspect your app will continue to fail.

That seems to have worked. Not sure what the messing around with video uploads, etc is all about.

    Thank you.

    Hi @canine1503,

Thanks for your quick response and we’re so happy it worked ??.

Yes, we agree that the app approval process is a bit complicated. But if you want, our team can help you with video uploads and other necessary processes. Since the Pinterest app approval process isn’t related to our plugin directly so please contact us here. Our team would be more than happy to guide you.

@canine1503, again we’re sorry for the inconvenience you had. We completely understand & you have every reason to be upset in this situation. As we’ve solved the issue already and if you think we deserve a second chance, please reconsider this review since it could be damaging for us. We would be grateful if you do so.

    Hi, again @canine1503,

I’m sharing with you another version of our plugin where you don’t need to insert your app id & secret key. Please download our plugin from here and enjoy the feature with pre-added id & secret key. You can keep using our credentials until you got approved yours one.

Let me know if it works or not ??.

    Thanks!
